HISTORY
Robert “Bob” Varela Sr. has owned Tape and Label convertors since 1977. After serving 4 years in the United States Air Force. After leaving the Air Force, Bob started off at Cal State Los Angeles then went on to graduate from USC with his masters in business and engineering. Bob acquired Tape and Label Converters in 1977 which was originally founded 1960. In 1984 Tape and Label had been chosen as an official licensee of the 1984 Olympics which supplied label and decal products to many of the major sponsors. We were located in East Los Angeles until 1988 when we expanded and moved to our present location in beautiful Santa Fe Springs, Ca.
Today, we are a family owned business with three generations running the day to day operations. We work very closely with our customers in designing and manufacturing the best possible label or sticker to enhance their product.
Our Philosophy
Our operating philosophy is service and quality to each of our customers. Our industry can be very demanding, which is why we have adapted and continuously work to provide the best possible service. We specialize in short to medium runs and offer fast turnaround. Tape and Label Converters Inc. is a manufacture of high quality pressure sensitive labels, stickers, and decals. We work with a wide variety of materials including paper, BOPP, Mylar, acetates, vinyl and much more.

All of the products that we manufacture are custom designed and manufactured to meet each customer’s specific requirements. Typical uses are food labeling, beverage labeling, consumer product labeling, instruction / caution/ warning labels, shipping labels, aerospace labels, chemical resistant and component identification labels.
